Business Development Engineer - Low Voltage Partnerships

About the role

Eaton is seeking a Business Development Engineer to drive growth of its low‑voltage (LV) switchgear portfolio across Data Center and Commercial & Industrial markets in the United Arab Emirates. The role blends technical engineering knowledge with commercial partnership development to expand Eaton’s ecosystem of distributors, consultants and system integrators.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute partnership plans that support LV switchgear growth objectives, focusing on Data Center and Commercial & Industrial segments.
• Identify, evaluate and cultivate strategic partners while expanding opportunities with existing partners.
• Create joint go‑to‑market initiatives, providing technical expertise to generate demand and new business.
• Prepare technical business cases, value propositions and solution concepts for partnership opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong technical and commercial relationships with partners, consultants, contractors and OEMs.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product Management and Engineering teams to align activities and maximise revenue potential.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum five years of experience in business development, technical sales, application engineering or related customer‑facing roles.
• Proven ability to identify and develop business opportunities within the electrical industry.
• Experience working with consultants, contractors, OEMs, panel builders, EPCs or distributors.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate technical capabilities into customer value.
