Business Development Executive - Exhibitions (Bilingual)

About the role

INDEX Conferences & Exhibitions, established in 1991 and specialising in organising conferences, exhibitions and trade shows, is looking for a bilingual Business Development Executive. The role drives revenue growth through exhibitor sales, sponsorships and strategic partnerships across local, regional (MEA) and international markets, and involves building long-term relationships with content producers, distributors and exhibitors.

Key responsibilities

• Drive exhibitor, sponsor and partnership sales to meet and exceed revenue targets.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities locally, regionally and internationally.
• Nurture long-term relationships with content producers, distributors, exhibitors and partners.
• Lead the full sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, negotiation, closing and post-sale follow-up.
• Work with marketing and operations teams to maximise exhibitor participation and sponsorship value.
• Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, conferences and networking forums.
• Track sales performance, maintain accurate pipelines and forecasts, and support growth and market expansion strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, with 2-4 years of proven B2B business development experience, preferably in exhibitions, media or content.
• Track record of growing revenue, securing partnerships and increasing exhibitor and sponsor participation.
• Strong market knowledge and network in Dubai, the MEA region and international content markets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills, able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
