Business Development Executive - Media (Bilingual)

About the role

INDEX Media UAE, a PR, branding, social media, creative design, production and advertising agency, is looking for a bilingual Business Development Executive. The role grows the client base and revenue across media products and services by finding and winning new business through leads, cold calls, events and existing relationships, and by negotiating pricing, closing sales and supporting clients after the sale.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business through leads, cold calls, existing relationships and promotional events.
• Research new markets and customer needs, and build a growth strategy focused on revenue and customer satisfaction.
• Explain the benefits and audience reach of INDEX Media's products and services to clients.
• Arrange and lead client meetings, and deliver presentations and sales pitches by phone or in person.
• Propose solutions, respond to RFPs, present pricing, negotiate costs and prepare sales contracts in line with applicable laws and guidelines.
• Meet short- and long-term sales targets and quotas.
• Collaborate with sales and leadership to secure, retain and grow accounts, and provide after-sales support and track every media purchase for accurate, on-time delivery.
• Keep records of sales, revenue and invoices, and enter leads into the company CRM (such as Maestro).
• Travel to meet clients and attend trade shows, industry events and trainings, and carry out other duties assigned by the Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing or a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience in business development or sales; a Bachelor's in Business Administration or Marketing is preferred.
• Valid UAE driving licence.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
• Knowledge of the media, branding or advertising industry is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word (including mail merge), Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong client relationship skills, self-motivation and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team management, problem-solving, initiative, attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks.
