Business Development Executive – Tracking & Telematics Solutions

About the role

SGS is seeking a Business Development Executive specialized in Tracking & Telematics Solutions to join its UAE team. The role focuses on expanding sales of fleet telematics and smart mobility solutions to government, semi‑government and corporate customers.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in fleet management, rent‑a‑car, corporate fleets and smart mobility projects.
• Promote SGS tracking and telematics solutions to government fleets and semi‑government entities, ensuring compliance with UAE regulatory programs such as SIRA and DoT.
• Conduct negotiations, presentations and contract discussions with key stakeholders.
• Maintain knowledge of UAE fleet compliance requirements and regulatory frameworks.
• Collaborate with internal technical teams to align solutions with customer needs.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of UAE government regulatory tracking programs (e.g., SIRA, DoT).
• Proven sales track record in fleet management, rent‑a‑car, corporate fleets or leasing companies.
• Experience serving government or semi‑government fleets and smart mobility projects.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills; English required, Arabic a plus.
• Valid UAE driving licence.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT or related field (MBA preferred).
• 2‑3 years of business development experience in fleet telematics, transportation technology, mobility platforms or IoT.
