Business Development Manager – Air & Sea

About the role

The Business Development Manager (BDM) for Air & Sea will act as a hunter, actively seeking new customers and trade lanes while also nurturing existing relationships. Based in Dubai, the BDM works closely with customer service and management to drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain a sales pipeline in Microsoft Dynamics, ensuring 100% CRM accuracy.
• Target, qualify and acquire new clients on identified trade lanes, planning a minimum number of sales calls each week.
• Present weekly pipeline updates to management via Dynamics dashboards.
• Support regional sales campaigns and generate leads for overseas DSV offices.
• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships, involving product specialists and inside sales as needed.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of sales experience in a multinational freight forwarding company.
• Self‑managed, result‑driven and outgoing personality.
• Strong communication, organization and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to analyse requirements and propose relevant solutions.
• Proactive, energetic and diplomatic with a focus on achieving KPIs.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
• Accurate data entry and pipeline management.
