Business Development Manager - Arabic Speaker (Media/Marketing/Events)

A well-established marketing and creative solutions company in the Middle East, expanding into the UAE and GCC, is hiring a Business Development Manager through its recruiter, Black Pearl Consult. The role suits someone who enjoys client engagement, business growth and marketing strategy, and who thrives in a start-up environment where processes are still being built. The manager represents the company in the UAE, builds client relationships, secures new projects and works with international leadership teams in the US and Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a business growth plan for the UAE and GCC markets.
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients, agencies and government entities.
• Create structure and process for client briefings, project requests and proposal development.
• Collaborate with the Asia team on BD and tender materials aligned with local requirements.
• Handle documentation, licensing and registration needed to operate in the UAE.
• Serve as the main link between the UAE market and international teams, giving cultural and business guidance.
• Support client onboarding, proposal submissions and follow-ups.
• Be hands-on from prospecting and pitching through negotiation and project execution.

Required profile

• 5-10 years of experience in business development, client servicing or marketing in advertising, media or creative industries.
• Proven track record of generating new business, managing relationships and delivering measurable results.
• Self-starter who can work independently and create new processes from scratch.
• Strong understanding of UAE business practices, government procedures and client expectations.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a strong advantage.
