Business Development Manager - Dubai

About the role

RTS Capital, part of Shamrock Trading Corporation, is looking for a Business Development Manager to focus on growth opportunities in Dubai, UAE. This is a 1099, contract sales position responsible for prospecting, qualifying and closing new accounts for RTS Capital within the region. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, outgoing, ambitious and dynamic.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new international business opportunities using strategic sales tactics such as solicitation, client referrals, networking, agent relationship development and lead generation through SEO.
• Present and explain complex financial products and their value to prospective clients.
• Build and maintain new and current international customer relationships by phone and in person.
• Maintain a robust pipeline to achieve monthly sales goals.
• Negotiate spreads and maximise profitability on all new business.
• Collaborate regularly with agent partners and follow up on sales leads and client referrals.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of business development experience.
• Experience in the financial sector or selling services to manufacturers is a plus.
• Demonstrated record of successful, solutions-based sales over the phone and in person.
• Self-driven, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, with excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Desire to work in a competitive sales and team environment.
• English business proficiency required.
• Able to travel within Eastern/Western Asia without restriction, up to 50% travel required.

Required skills

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience selling internationally.
