Business Development Manager – Institutional Payments

About the role

Taptap Send is launching an institutional payments business across emerging‑market corridors. As the Business Development Manager you will own the end‑to‑end pipeline of institutional partners, from first contact through to live integration, working closely with trading and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Source, negotiate and close new institutional partnerships with crypto exchanges, fintech firms and money‑transfer operators.
• Manage the full business‑development cycle, including outreach, qualification, commercial negotiation and hand‑off to onboarding.
• Represent Taptap Send at industry events and build the company’s profile in target segments.
• Collaborate with internal product and corridor teams to translate client needs into roadmap priorities.
• Maintain a clean pipeline and report progress directly to senior leadership.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of business development, partnerships or sales experience in payments, crypto or foreign‑exchange.
• Established network across crypto exchanges, MTOs or emerging‑market fintechs.
• Comfortable selling technical products to sophisticated buyers such as treasury teams, CFOs and heads of payments.
• Organised, self‑directed and able to work without a large support structure.

Required skills

• Strong commercial negotiation and deal‑closing abilities.
• Ability to translate client requirements into product specifications.
