Business Development Manager – Italy & Middle East Projects

About the role

JAS, an international supply chain services provider, is seeking a Business Development Manager to grow its project logistics, freight forwarding and supply chain business with Italian companies operating in the Middle East.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct customer, prospect and sales visits throughout Italy and across the Middle East region.
• Develop, manage and grow Italian OEM, EPC, industrial and project‑related accounts.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of Italian companies with export, import, project cargo and supply chain requirements in the Middle East.
• Prepare quotations, coordinate with the pricing department and develop competitive commercial proposals.
• Coordinate closely between JAS Italy and JAS Middle East to develop customers, share leads, align account plans and ensure smooth operational execution.
• Support Italian project clients across Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Oman and other Middle East markets while based in Dubai and travelling extensively.
• Maintain accurate customer records, visit reports, opportunity pipelines, CRM data and sales forecasts.
• Represent JAS at trade fairs, customer events, industry meetings, conferences and business development activities.

Required profile

• 2+ years experience in project logistics or freight forwarding.
• Experience with OEM, EPC and industrial customers.
• Strong commercial and project cargo knowledge.
• Fluent English; Italian preferred.
• Willingness to travel extensively.
