Business Development Manager

About the role

Elsewedy Digital, a leading integrator of telecommunications, safety and security solutions, is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth across Oil & Gas, Power Utilities and Commercial sectors in the Middle East.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, develop and implement business development strategies targeting Oil & Gas, Power Utilities and Commercial markets.
• Research market trends, customer needs and competitive conditions to identify new opportunities.
• Maintain cost‑effective activities within budget and align plans with company‑wide goals.
• Leverage existing alliances and customer relationships to expand business opportunities.
• Develop and execute strategic campaigns, including RFP influence, pricing strategies and value propositions.
• Lead the end‑to‑end bid process, coordinate with executive leadership and present proposals.
• Support the transition of awarded contracts from Business Development to Operations.
• Manage sales activities, account management of existing customers, and respond to enquiries, quotations and tenders.
• Collaborate with specialist teams for technical input and ensure pre‑qualification and registration compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development or sales within Oil & Gas, Power Utilities or Commercial sectors.
• Strong analytical skills to assess market conditions and competitive landscape.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with industry leaders and key customers.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for executive reviews and client meetings.
