Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive regional sales growth for a leading AI‑driven technology provider. The role focuses on public‑sector engagement, tender management and solution‑based selling within government and large institutional environments.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve regional sales targets and build a strong pipeline of qualified leads.
• Conduct market research on tenders, competitors, pricing and technology trends.
• Identify, evaluate and onboard local business partners to strengthen market presence.
• Build and maintain relationships with government entities and key stakeholders.
• Monitor government tenders, define bidding strategies and lead the bid management process.
• Collaborate with pre‑sales, product, legal and operations teams to ensure smooth project handover.
• Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions and trade shows.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration; postgraduate sales qualification preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in public‑sector or government sales, preferably with AI‑based or data‑driven solutions.
• Proven track record in tendering, bidding and large‑scale project acquisition.
• Fluent English (mandatory); Arabic preferred.

Required skills

• Strong business development and negotiation capabilities.
• Experience with CRM systems for accurate record‑keeping.
• Knowledge of AI‑driven, data‑centric technology solutions.
