About the role
The Business Development Manager will lead public‑sector sales for advanced AI‑based and data‑driven technology solutions in Dubai. You will be responsible for achieving sales targets, building a strong pipeline, and establishing strategic partnerships with government entities and local partners.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve allocated sales targets and prepare quarterly sales reports.
- Collect market intelligence on tenders, incumbents, technology trends and price sensitivity.
- Build and maintain a robust lead pipeline and identify suitable local business partners.
- Educate clients and partners on GET technology through presentations and site visits.
- Develop and nurture relationships with government entities.
- Enter and maintain accurate data in the CRM system.
- Manage tender and bidding processes, recommending the optimal approach (prime, partner, or consortium).
- Oversee bid management and pre‑sales support, ensuring timely hand‑over of information.
- Liaise with Operations to transfer awarded contracts and project details.
- Maintain ongoing client relationships, seeking upsell and portfolio expansion opportunities.
- Represent the company at trade shows for passport and ID solutions and support product development activities.
Required profile
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in public‑sector sales.
- Proven track record selling AI‑based, data‑driven or advanced technology solutions.
- Strong understanding of government tendering and bidding processes.
- Experience building partnerships with local businesses and government entities.
Required skills
- Proficiency with CRM systems.
- Knowledge of tender and bidding procedures.
