Business Development Officer - Cargo Contracts

About the role

The Business Development Officer – Cargo Contracts will lead end‑to‑end supplier contract management for cargo operations, ensuring governance, compliance, and data‑driven insights across the contract lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and continuously improve a central repository of all cargo supplier contracts, guaranteeing accuracy, traceability and adherence to corporate governance.
• Support sourcing initiatives and RFP processes for new and existing stations, managing documentation, approvals, renewals and compliance.
• Oversee supplier onboarding and offboarding, ensuring contractual obligations, operational readiness and required training are documented.
• Manage supplier communication channels to disseminate corporate updates, policy changes and procedural guidance.
• Prepare Management Information System (MIS) reports and visual dashboards for the Customer Experience function, translating data into actionable insights for executive decision‑making.
• Record meeting minutes, monitor follow‑up actions and ensure timely closure of assigned items to support cross‑functional governance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a commercial discipline or related field.
• At least 36 months of experience in contract management, procurement or business development, preferably within logistics or aviation.
• Additional education in logistics or aviation management is advantageous.
