Business Development – PSP Merchant Specialist

About the role

We are hiring a Business Development professional specialized in Payment Service Provider (PSP) merchants. You will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence within the payments industry by identifying and securing new PSP partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify potential PSP merchants through market research and industry analysis.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and execute lead generation strategies.
• Initiate contact, conduct outreach, and deliver compelling product presentations to PSP clients.
• Build and nurture relationships with key decision‑makers within PSP organisations.
• Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to achieve revenue goals.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to refine sales approaches.
• Customize solutions to address PSP merchants’ specific needs and provide consultative guidance.
• Lead negotiations, address objections, and facilitate contract closing while ensuring legal and compliance requirements are met.
• Work closely with internal product development and marketing teams to enhance offerings based on client feedback.
• Provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and market trends.

Required profile

• Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably within the Payments or Fintech industry.
• In‑depth understanding of Payment Service Providers and their operational dynamics.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts.
• Results‑driven, goal‑oriented and focused on exceeding sales targets.
• Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and compliance standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
