Business Intelligence Engineer

About the role

TMC Middle East is seeking a highly capable Business Intelligence Engineer to support a prestigious client project in Dubai. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining production‑grade BI solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data transformations, semantic models, and interactive dashboards using Power BI and DAX.
• Implement data validation, troubleshoot discrepancies, and optimise SQL queries for performance.
• Work with Microsoft Fabric (or similar platforms) to manage pipelines, lakehouses/warehouses, and scheduled refresh processes.
• Collaborate with platform and central IT teams, using Git and Azure integration for deployments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Business Analytics or a related field.
• 7+ years of professional experience, including at least 3 years building production BI solutions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently on dashboards and data tools.
