Business Strategy Specialist

About the role

Our client seeks a highly ambitious, execution‑driven Business Strategy Specialist to work directly with the Managing Director. The role acts as a strategic partner, driving execution across sales, business development, projects, operations and organizational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Attend key MD meetings, prepare detailed minutes, track actions and monitor commitments, escalating risks as needed.
• Develop deep understanding of sales operations, project pipeline and strategic accounts; monitor opportunities, quotations and growth gaps.
• Support senior leadership on strategic initiatives, translate decisions into measurable action plans and track KPIs.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams (Sales, Operations, Finance, HR, Marketing) to ensure alignment and timely execution of directives.
• Monitor strategic customer accounts and business‑critical projects, maintaining structured trackers with clear ownership.
• Create executive dashboards, performance reports and business summaries to provide actionable insights for leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Engineering or related field; MBA preferred.
• 3‑6 years of experience in executive support, management consulting, business strategy, business development or sales operations.
• Strong understanding of business strategy, sales processes and organizational operations.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, decision‑making and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to quickly grasp business discussions and translate them into actionable outcomes.
• Confident communication with senior leadership, clients, consultants and partners.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint.
• Experience with business reporting and dashboard tools.
