Business Teacher (January Intake)

About the role

GEMS Education is seeking a passionate Business Teacher to join its school in the United Arab Emirates for the January intake. The role involves delivering the business curriculum, fostering a culture of excellence, and supporting the holistic development of students.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging business lessons aligned with the GEMS curriculum.
• Maintain accurate records of lesson plans, attendance, assessments and resources.
• Teach a diverse student body, including ESL learners, late‑entering students, and gifted or low‑ability groups.
• Assess, record and report student progress, using data to tailor instruction.
• Integrate media and technology effectively in the classroom.
• Promote student well‑being, cultural awareness and a love of learning.
• Communicate regularly with parents and external stakeholders.
• Participate in CPD, collaborate with colleagues on teaching materials, and lead co‑curricular activities.

• Ability to plan, organise and document teaching activities.
• Strong classroom management and behaviour‑support skills.
