About the role
The Buyer is responsible for managing procurement activities across all platforms, commodities and services to ensure timely and effective supply of materials and services.
Key responsibilities
- Execute the procurement process from request to PO issuance in line with AMMROC policies.
- Conduct bidding, negotiate with suppliers and secure best market prices.
- Coordinate with internal teams during bidding and negotiation.
- Manage vendor performance, selection and compliance with import/export regulations.
- Prepare performance reports and support high‑value or high‑risk projects.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent; MBA desirable.
- Minimum 3 years experience in aerospace maintenance or military aircraft environment, with at least 2 years in purchasing.
- Strong leadership, negotiation and analytical abilities.
Required skills
- Knowledge of ITAR regulations.
- Knowledge of UAE procurement regulations.
- Understanding of aerospace industry best practices.
- Familiarity with military aircraft operations.
