Cabin Fumigation Technician

About the role

The Cabin Fumigation Technician is responsible for executing pest‑control and disinfection activities across the airline fleet and partner carriers. The role ensures every aircraft meets regulatory standards for disinsection and maintains a safe, clean cabin environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and carry out scheduled pest‑control tasks in line with fleet planning and maintenance requirements.
• Perform all work according to approved manuals (AMM, TPM) and SOPs, using the correct tools and personal protective equipment.
• Manage fumigation chemicals responsibly, track usage, and return unused material.
• Monitor Residual Disinsection Certificates, alerting planning when renewal is needed.
• Complete required documentation accurately and submit shift reports in the designated systems.
• Respond promptly to ad‑hoc fumigation requests and maintain housekeeping standards on aircraft and in facilities.
• Participate in training programmes to improve operational effectiveness and safety culture.

Required profile

• High School Certificate or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of airport operations experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory ramp‑operations role.
• Demonstrated knowledge of cabin cleaning and aircraft fumigation processes.
• Valid driving licence; AUH Airside licence preferred.
• Fluency in English and at least one of Tagalog, Hindi or Nepali.
