CAD Rebar Detailer

About the role

CNS Engineering Service is seeking a skilled CAD Rebar Detailer to join its Dubai team. You will be responsible for producing accurate rebar drawings and specifications for reinforced concrete structures using advanced CAD tools.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed rebar drawings and specifications using CAD software.
• Interpret structural drawings and calculate quantities, sizes, and placement of rebar.
• Collaborate with structural engineers and construction teams to ensure correct implementation.
• Review and verify drawings for accuracy, completeness, and code compliance.
• Prepare material lists and quantity take‑offs for procurement.
• Troubleshoot design conflicts and resolve discrepancies in rebar layouts.
• Maintain organized digital files and stay updated on building codes and best practices.

Required profile

• Associate degree or higher in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in rebar detailing or a similar role.
• Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong knowledge of rebar detailing practices and reinforced concrete structures.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and specifications accurately.
• Excellent mathematical, spatial reasoning, and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Understanding of relevant building codes and standards.
