Captain – A320 – Full‑time – Abu Dhabi

About the role

Etihad Airways is seeking an experienced A320 Captain to join its rapidly expanding fleet in Abu Dhabi. You will command modern aircraft, ensure the highest safety standards, and contribute to the airline’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain ultimate authority for the safe, secure, and efficient operation of each flight.
• Command the aircraft from taxi‑out to final engine shutdown.
• Lead and manage flight and cabin crew, applying effective crew‑resource management.
• Operate in line with fuel‑efficiency and sustainability policies.
• Deliver consistent on‑time performance to meet reliability targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 5,500 total flight hours.
• At least 2,500 PIC hours on multi‑crew glass‑cockpit aircraft.
• Minimum 1,500 PIC hours on the A320 family, with recent A320 experience (within 12 months).
• Valid A320 type rating (minimum 2 months remaining at start date).
• Unrestricted, current ICAO ATPL and A320 rating.

Required skills

• A320 type rating.
• Multi‑crew glass‑cockpit operation.
• ICAO Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL).
