Car Mechanic – Full‑Time

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Car Mechanic to join our rent‑a‑car fleet in Dubai. The role involves maintaining vehicles, minimizing downtime, and ensuring safety for rental customers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing such as oil changes, filter replacements and fluid checks.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues across engines, brakes, suspension, steering and cooling systems.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and coordinate repair priorities with fleet and operations teams.
• Maintain accurate records of servicing, repairs and spare‑part usage.
• Follow workshop safety procedures and ensure all repairs meet quality standards.

Required profile

• Diploma or technical qualification in Automotive Technology or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
• 2–5 years of hands‑on experience as a car mechanic, preferably in a car‑rental or workshop environment.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical systems and ability to work independently under pressure.

Required skills

• Use of diagnostic tools and automotive equipment.
• Vehicle maintenance and repair (engine, brakes, suspension, steering, cooling system).
• Preventive maintenance and fleet servicing.
