Career Advisor – Executive Rank (UAE National)

About the role

The Career Advisor supports the employability and career development of University of Dubai students and alumni. The role provides guidance, delivers career‑readiness programs, builds employer engagement and connects talent with relevant job opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide individual and group career advising on exploration, planning, job‑search strategies, CVs, interviews and negotiation.
• Design, coordinate and deliver workshops, webinars, coaching sessions and other career‑readiness programs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with employers, recruiters, alumni and professional bodies to expand employment opportunities.
• Source, screen and promote full‑time, part‑time, graduate and entry‑level vacancies and keep career platforms up‑to‑date.
• Monitor labour‑market trends, emerging occupations and future‑skills requirements and translate findings into guidance and initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Career Counseling, Business Administration, Human Resources or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum three years of full‑time experience in career services, graduate employability or talent acquisition, preferably in higher education.
• Professional certification in career development or coaching is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with career‑management systems, online career platforms and LinkedIn.
• Ability to analyse labour‑market data and produce evidence‑based reports.
• Strong event planning and program delivery capabilities.
