Cargo Project Manager – Aviation Logistics

About the role

dnata Cargo is seeking a Cargo Project Manager to lead and deliver large‑scale projects within its airline and airport operations division in Dubai. The role involves planning, executing and closing projects in line with company standards, ensuring they meet business requirements, timelines, budgets and quality expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate, plan, monitor and control projects from charter to closure, maintaining realistic schedules and resource allocations.
• Regularly review project performance, identify gaps and implement corrective actions in collaboration with department heads and support functions.
• Manage project stakeholders throughout the lifecycle to ensure smooth implementation and rapid realisation of benefits.
• Maintain the project register and planning tools, ensuring all documentation reflects current status and agreed service levels.
• Drive cost optimisation while delivering projects on time and within scope.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of systems, procedures and standards to enhance quality and productivity.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex projects in cargo, logistics or aviation environments.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on delivering measurable business outcomes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with internal stakeholders and cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt plans to changing requirements.
