Carpenter – Hotel Maintenance

About the role

The Radisson Resort on Al Marjan Island is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join its Engineering team. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all carpentry and joinery elements throughout the property, ensuring guest areas remain functional and attractive.

Key responsibilities

• Repair and maintain carpentry and joinery works, including hinges and door closures.
• Maintain furnishings such as chairs, tables and cabinets using wood, fibre‑board, Formica, glass and plasterboard.
• Carry out minor constructions, installations and furniture repairs.
• Provide stock information to the Store Controller for accurate material control.
• Report hazards, keep work areas tidy and ensure uniform cleanliness.
• Follow safety procedures, wear required protective equipment and assist in emergencies.
• Attend training sessions and support other engineering duties as directed.

Required profile

• Technical certification in Carpentry.
• 2–5 years of experience in hotel or building maintenance.
• Knowledge of water systems, pumps and sanitary installations.
• Strong troubleshooting ability.
• Willingness to work shifts and respond to emergencies.
