Carpenter – Luxury Hotel in Ras Al Khaimah

About the role

The Carpenter will join the engineering team at the Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah, delivering high‑quality carpentry work to maintain and enhance the hotel’s interior and exterior spaces.

Key responsibilities

• Perform construction, installation, repair, and maintenance of furniture, fixtures, doors, windows, partitions and other wood structures.
• Inspect woodwork, assess repair needs and execute timely maintenance or replacement.
• Collaborate with the Engineering team to prioritize tasks and ensure smooth facility operations.
• Maintain inventory of carpentry supplies, tools and materials, ordering as needed within budget.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to meet project specifications.

Required profile

• Proven experience and expertise in carpentry techniques and installation methods.
• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving ability and capacity to work independently or as part of a team.
• Knowledge of safety standards and building codes related to carpentry work.

Required skills

• Use of powered saws, hammers, rulers and other measurement tools.
• Blueprint and drawing interpretation.
• Understanding of different wood types, adhesives, finishes and hardware.
