Carpentry Supervisor – Oil & Gas EPC Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Carpentry Supervisor to lead all carpentry and formwork activities on major Oil & Gas EPC projects in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures safe, efficient and high‑quality execution of formwork, shuttering and related works in line with project specifications and HSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and coordinate daily carpentry and formwork tasks, allocating manpower, tools and materials to meet project milestones.
• Supervise fabrication, erection, alignment, bracing and dismantling of formwork systems for foundations, tanks, pipe racks and other reinforced concrete structures.
• Conduct toolbox talks, enforce HSE policies, perform risk assessments and ensure compliance with Permit‑to‑Work requirements.
• Maintain quality records, coordinate inspections with QA/QC, and prevent non‑conformances through proactive control.
• Manage inventory of timber, plywood, formwork systems and consumables, coordinating with procurement to ensure timely supply.

Required profile

• 10‑12 years of experience in carpentry, shuttering and formwork, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role on Oil & Gas EPC projects.
• Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology or equivalent technical qualification; additional construction supervision certifications are a plus.
