Cashier

About the role

Wolfi's, a cycling retailer, educator and experience provider in the GCC, is building a pool of enthusiastic, customer-focused Cashiers. The Cashier is the final touchpoint of the in-store customer journey, handling point-of-sale transactions, answering customer queries and keeping the checkout area clean and professional. The role calls for attention to detail, strong communication skills and a genuine passion for customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and professionally at the counter.
• Process sales, refunds and exchanges accurately through the POS system, and answer basic product or service questions or direct customers to the Sales Specialist.
• Handle customer concerns promptly and escalate them where needed.
• Follow company policies and procedures, keep the cash drawer accurate and balanced, and handle cash, cards, store credit and vouchers.
• Keep the counter clean and tidy, restock supplies such as bags and receipt rolls, and report operational concerns.
• Assist with basic opening and closing procedures, collaborate with other retail team members, share customer feedback and take part in store meetings and training.

Required profile

• 1-2 years of experience in a cashier or customer-facing retail role.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to stay calm and courteous under pressure.
• Basic proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Ideal candidate: positive, efficient and accurate, honest and responsible, thriving in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Required skills

• Familiarity with POS systems and basic accounting procedures.
