Category Executive – Groceries (Ultrafresh)

About the role

As a Category Executive you will support the Groceries Category Management team in building and maintaining the Ultrafresh assortment, pricing and promotions. You will work closely with suppliers, the supply‑chain and internal stakeholders to ensure the category meets performance targets and delights customers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Category Manager in executing category strategies aligned with business goals.
• Source new products, maintain the Ultrafresh assortment and coordinate product details, pricing and promotional offers with suppliers.
• Track sales, pricing and stock availability, flagging risks or opportunities.
• Plan and execute weekly and monthly promotions in collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.
• Ensure accurate product listings, content and images on the app.
• Liaise with the supply‑chain team to support SKU onboarding and replenishment cycles.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, new product opportunities and benchmark pricing.

Required profile

• 2–3 years experience in the Ultrafresh segment within retail or quick‑e‑commerce.
• Strong understanding of the UAE Ultrafresh market, supplier landscape and quality standards.
• Excellent communication, coordination and commercial mindset.
• Detail‑oriented with solid organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Analytical abilities with understanding of commercial KPIs and category performance metrics.
• Proactive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
