CCS Commissioning Specialist

About the role

The CCS Commissioning Specialist will lead field service activities for protection and busbar protection projects in Abu Dhabi. You will manage test and commissioning, resource planning, and ensure high billable ratios while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform test and commissioning (T&S) of protection, busbar protection, and related GA projects.
• Plan and allocate resources for the field service commissioning team.
• Maintain a billable ratio of 90% or higher across projects.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, operations, and customers to control budgets, schedules, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with EHS requirements and provide appropriate PPE for personnel.
• Manage approvals and renewals for engineering engineers from key accounts.
• Implement ServiceMax during project execution.
• Represent GE Vernova in technical discussions, workshops, and customer meetings.

Required profile

• Proven experience in protection relay engineering, busbar protection, and field service work.
• Ability to handle engineering documentation, drawing revisions, and technical clarifications.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with customers, consultants, and suppliers.
• Experience guiding junior draftsmen or design teams.
