Chartered Accountant – Tax & Compliance (Fresh Graduate)

About the role

We are seeking a freshly qualified Chartered Accountant to join our tax and compliance execution team in Dubai. The role involves handling VAT and corporate tax returns, litigation, refunds and audit support, with a clear path to independent client handling.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare VAT return workings, coordinate filing within statutory deadlines and perform transaction level reviews to identify errors, omissions and RCM implications.
• Assist in preparing responses to FTA queries, notices, assessments and applications for reconsideration, penalty waivers and TDRC.
• Serve as day‑to‑day contact for assigned clients, collect required documents, communicate deliverable status and escalate significant issues to the Engagement Manager.

Required profile

• Freshly qualified Chartered Accountant; articleship exposure to taxation preferred.
• Conceptual understanding of UAE VAT with willingness to develop deeper technical expertise.
• Immediate joining preferred.

Required skills

• Accounting, taxation, reconciliations and compliance review.
• Proficiency in using AI tools responsibly for research, drafting, data analysis and routine tax/compliance activities.
• Clear English written and verbal communication.
