Chartered Accountant – Tax & Compliance (Immediate Joiner)

About the role

Our client, a leading tax and compliance firm in Dubai, is seeking a Chartered Accountant with strong expertise in UAE VAT, Corporate Tax and regulatory filings. The role is on‑site and requires an immediate start or availability within 15 days.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file UAE VAT returns, amendments and voluntary disclosures on the FTA portal.
• Handle UAE Corporate Tax registration, filings and tax computations in line with the new UAE CT law.
• Manage Economic Substance Reporting (ESR) and Ultimate Beneficial Owner (UBO) filings for client entities.
• Assist clients during FTA audits, tax assessments and respond to queries or notices.
• Review client books, invoices and contracts for VAT and CT compliance.
• Prepare tax advisory notes, impact analyses and compliance reports.
• Liaise with the FTA, clients, auditors and internal teams to gather required documentation.
• Maintain a compliance calendar, track deadlines and send client reminders.
• Support senior managers in tax planning, structuring and consulting projects.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant qualification (CA, ACCA or CPA) with 3‑5 years post‑qualification experience in UAE VAT, Corporate Tax and FTA compliance.
• Hands‑on experience with the FTA portal for VAT filing, CT registration, ESR and voluntary disclosures.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Tax Law, VAT Law, Corporate Tax Law and IFRS.
• Immediate availability or notice period of maximum 15 days.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with Tally, Zoho Books or other ERP systems.
