About the role

The Chef de Cuisine will lead the culinary team at Lexington Grill & Bar, Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah, creating innovative, seasonally‑inspired menus that reflect the brand’s identity and delight guests. This senior kitchen position oversees all aspects of food preparation, presentation, and safety while driving quality and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute culinary concepts, seasonal menus and special promotions in collaboration with management.
• Oversee kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation, ensuring consistency and adherence to food safety standards.
• Supervise, train and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high‑quality output and efficient workflow.
• Maintain strict quality control, conduct regular tastings and inspections, and manage inventory and food costs.
• Ensure proper maintenance of kitchen equipment and coordinate repairs to minimise downtime.
