Chef De Cuisine – Luxury Airport Lounges

About the role

Emirates Flight Catering is seeking an experienced Chef De Cuisine to lead kitchen operations for its First & Business Class lounges at EK airport. The role combines menu innovation, strict quality control, and team leadership to deliver world‑class dining experiences for international travelers.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations in airport lounges, ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and SOPs.
• Develop and implement à la carte and buffet menus, conduct tasting panels, and train staff on advanced plating techniques.
• Lead, mentor and evaluate a diverse culinary team, including Sous Chefs, fostering creativity and efficiency.
• Manage inventory, control costs, and implement waste‑reduction strategies while maintaining premium quality.
• Handle high‑level guest feedback, coordinate with F&B service teams, and produce performance reports for senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Culinary Arts, Hotel Management or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive culinary experience in luxury hospitality, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record in high‑volume food production, menu development and cost control.
• Strong knowledge of international cuisines, HACCP principles and food safety regulations.
