About the role
The Chef de Partie will prepare and cook meals according to recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistent presentation and guest satisfaction in a high‑volume restaurant environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food items, both hot and cold, following recipes, presentation, and food safety guidelines.
- Regulate oven, broiler, grill and roaster temperatures and monitor food quality and quantity.
- Maintain food logs, manage portion control, and ensure proper garnish and arrangement.
- Communicate with the Chef and service staff about specials, excess items, and out‑of‑stock menu items.
- Assist in hiring, training, scheduling and evaluating team members as needed.
Required profile
- Technical or vocational culinary education.
- At least 3 years of relevant kitchen experience.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend and lift objects up to 25 lb without assistance.
- Commitment to safety, hygiene and company policies.
Required skills
- Food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Temperature control of kitchen equipment.
