Chef de Partie – Culinary Role

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Chef de Partie to join our hotel kitchen in Dubai, responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking dishes according to recipes, and upholding the highest standards of quality, safety and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and portion ingredients, wash, peel, and store fresh fruits and vegetables.
• Cook food following recipes, quality and presentation standards, and complete food preparation checklists.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers safely.
• Test and monitor food for proper cooking and temperature, ensuring food safety.
• Set up and break down work stations, serve food in correct portions, and maintain a clean, sanitized kitchen environment.
• Check appliance and food temperatures and ensure compliance with safety policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of relevant kitchen experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.

Required skills

• Operating kitchen equipment (ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, fryers).
• Food preparation and portioning, including chopping and measuring ingredients.
• Temperature monitoring and control for appliances and cooked food.
• Food safety and sanitation procedures, including cleaning and disinfecting work areas.
