Chef de Partie – Culinary Team

About the role

W Hotels is seeking a motivated Chef de Partie to join its culinary team on Palm Jumeirah. You will work in a fast‑paced, luxury environment, preparing high‑quality dishes and supporting the kitchen’s daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare special meals, substitute items, and cold foods according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Regulate the temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters and ensure food safety.
• Pull items from freezer storage, thaw them in the refrigerator, and maintain accurate food logs.
• Ensure proper portioning, arrangement, and garnish for all dishes.
• Communicate with service staff about menu specials, out‑of‑stock items, and excess food for daily specials.
• Monitor food quality and quantity, reporting any issues to the Chef.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant culinary experience, preferably in a hotel or upscale restaurant.
• Technical or vocational culinary education preferred.
• No prior supervisory experience required.
