Chef De Partie – Garage Production

About the role

W Hotels on Yas Island is seeking a motivated Chef De Partie to join its Garage Production kitchen. You will work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment, preparing both hot and cold dishes to the brand’s exacting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, presentation and quality standards.
• Regulate oven, broiler, grill and roaster temperatures and maintain food logs.
• Thaw frozen items safely, portion dishes accurately and garnish plates.
• Communicate with the Chef and service staff about specials, out‑of‑stock items and excess food for daily specials.
• Monitor food quality and quantity, ensuring consistency throughout service.
• Assist with hiring, training, scheduling and coaching kitchen staff as needed.
• Follow all safety, security and hygiene policies, reporting any incidents or maintenance needs.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in a similar culinary role.
• Technical or vocational culinary education preferred.
• Ability to work long periods standing, lifting up to 25 lb, and performing repetitive motions.
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
