About the role
The Sheraton Hotels & Resorts in Sharjah is seeking a skilled Chef De Partie to manage both hot and cold stations. You will be responsible for preparing special meals, maintaining food quality, and supporting the kitchen team during busy periods.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook hot and cold dishes according to recipes, presentation, and quality standards.
- Regulate temperatures of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters; monitor food logs and portion control.
- Thaw frozen items, ensure proper garnish, and maintain inventory for daily specials.
- Communicate menu specials and out‑of‑stock items to Food & Beverage service staff.
- Assist in hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating kitchen staff as needed.
- Follow all safety, security, and hygiene policies; report maintenance issues and incidents.
Required profile
- Technical, trade or vocational school degree in culinary arts or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant kitchen experience, preferably in a hotel or resort environment.
- No supervisory experience required.
