Chef de Partie – Indian Cuisine

About the role

We are looking for a talented Chef de Partie specialized in Indian cuisine to join the culinary team at Oaks Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel in Dubai. The role involves preparing authentic Indian dishes while maintaining the high standards expected across our hotel portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes, ensuring authenticity and quality.
• Manage a designated kitchen section, overseeing junior staff and daily operations.
• Maintain compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
• Assist in menu planning and develop new Indian menu items.
• Collaborate with other chefs to ensure kitchen efficiency and productivity.
• Monitor inventory levels for the assigned station.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in Indian cuisine techniques.
• Support the Executive Chef and Sous Chef as required.

Required profile

• Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution.
• 3‑5 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role.
• Proven expertise in Indian cuisine and cooking techniques.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Excellent knife skills and proficiency with kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑volume kitchen.
• Fluency in English.
