Chef de Partie – In‑Room Dining

About the role

The Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach is seeking a Chef de Partie to lead the In‑Room Dining kitchen. You will ensure high‑quality food preparation, maintain hygiene standards, and support a seamless guest experience in a luxury hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare food items according to guest orders, following recipe cards, portion, and presentation standards while setting up stations for breakfast, lunch, and dinner services.
• Start and manage pre‑prepared food items, ensuring production aligns with estimated demand.
• Train, motivate, and supervise kitchen staff, enforcing cultural and core standards.
• Operate, maintain, and clean kitchen equipment such as deep fryers, broilers, stoves, steamers, food processors, mixers, slicers, ovens, steam tables, tilt kettles, waffle irons, and flat‑top grills.

Required profile

• Minimum four years of culinary or related experience.
• Formal training from a cooking school or culinary institute, or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards.
• Excellent attention to detail, cleanliness, and hygiene practices.
• Good communication skills and proficiency in English.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Required skills

• Operation of deep fryers, broilers, stoves, and ovens.
• Use of steamers, steam tables, tilt kettles, and flat‑top grills.
• Handling of food processors, mixers, slicers, and waffle irons.
• Food preparation techniques.
• Food safety standards.
