About the role
Le Meridien in Dubai is looking for a motivated Chef de Partie to join its hotel kitchen team. The role involves preparing a variety of hot and cold dishes while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and presentation.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare special meals and substitute items according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills and roasters and monitor food quality and quantity.
- Pull frozen items to thaw, ensure proper portioning, arrangement and garnish, and maintain food logs.
- Communicate assistance needs during busy periods and inform the Chef of excess items for daily specials.
- Notify Food & Beverage service staff of menu specials and out‑of‑stock items.
- Prepare and cook cold foods and ensure compliance with food safety checklists.
Required profile
- Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
- Minimum three years of relevant kitchen experience.
- Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift objects up to 25 lb.
- No supervisory experience required; willingness to support team and follow safety policies.
