Chef de Partie – Mediterranean Restaurant

About the role

Rixos Hotels is seeking a passionate Chef de Partie to join the culinary team at Josephine, a waterfront Mediterranean restaurant located in Rixos Premium Dubai, JBR. The successful candidate will manage an assigned kitchen section, ensure consistent food quality and presentation, and support junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the preparation and operation of the assigned kitchen section.
• Prepare and present dishes according to approved recipes, presentation standards and portion specifications.
• Ensure consistency in taste, quality and presentation during every service.
• Organise the section effectively before, during and after service, monitoring mise en place.
• Supervise and guide Demi Chefs and Commis Chefs within the section.
• Support the training and development of junior culinary team members.
• Monitor food quality, freshness and proper storage; follow FIFO and food rotation procedures.
• Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, HACCP and health‑and‑safety requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and all equipment.
• Assist with inventory control, stock management and ordering.

Required profile

• Passionate and experienced Chef de Partie.
• Minimum of 1 month experience in a similar kitchen role.
• Ability to supervise and guide junior kitchen staff.
• Commitment to food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards.
