Chef De Partie - Pastry

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail‑oriented Chef de Partie – Pastry to join the culinary team at Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort in Ras Al‑Khaimah. Reporting to the Executive Pastry Chef, you will lead daily pastry operations, ensuring high standards of quality, creativity, and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and execute all pastry items according to recipes, standards and quality specifications.
• Lead, mentor and supervise pastry team members, maintaining food safety, hygiene and presentation standards.
• Develop and implement innovative pastry concepts and menu items in collaboration with the Executive Pastry Chef.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, allergens and dietary requirements.
• Manage inventory rotation, stock levels and cost efficiency while minimizing waste.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment and utensils.
• Communicate with outlet chefs and front‑of‑house staff regarding guest feedback, special requests and dietary needs.
• Assist with menu costing, recipe development, production planning and photographic documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of professional pastry experience in a luxury hotel or fine‑dining environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with fluency in English.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, multicultural kitchen.
• Focus on guest needs and professional composure under pressure.
