Chef de Partie – Pastry

About the role

The Luxury Collection is seeking a motivated Chef de Partie specializing in pastry to join the culinary team at Ajman Saray, a Luxury Collection Resort. Reporting to the Sous Chef, you will help maintain the highest standards of quality, consistency, and presentation across all pastry operations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the preparation and production of hot and cold pastry items for buffet and à la carte service, ensuring compliance with recipes and specifications.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards, including HACCP, OSHA, and local health regulations.
• Plan and manage pastry quantities, plating requirements, and daily production needs.
• Produce prep lists, assist in developing seasonal menu items, and ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients.
• Lead and train kitchen staff, fostering teamwork and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of relevant culinary experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Culinary Arts/Hotel Management with a minimum of 2 years experience.
• Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume kitchen environment.
• Strong organizational skills and a commitment to guest and employee satisfaction.
