Chef de Partie – Steak House

About the role

The Steak House at The Ritz‑Carlton Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to deliver high‑quality dishes and support the kitchen team. You will work closely with the Chef de Cuisine to ensure consistency, safety, and guest satisfaction in a luxury hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare special meals and substitute items according to menu specifications.
• Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters to maintain cooking standards.
• Thaw frozen foods in refrigeration units and manage portioning, arrangement, and garnish.
• Maintain accurate food logs and monitor quality and quantity of prepared items.
• Communicate assistance needs during busy periods and inform the Chef of excess items for daily specials.
• Update service staff on menu specials and out‑of‑stock items.
• Prepare and cook food following recipes, quality, and presentation standards, including cold foods.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and coaching team members.
• Follow all safety, security, and uniform policies and report any hazards.

Required profile

• Technical, trade, or vocational school degree.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant culinary experience.
• No prior supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
