Chef de Partie – Wet Deck

About the role

We are seeking a Chef de Partie – Wet Deck to prepare special meals, manage cooking equipment temperatures, and ensure high‑quality food service at our W Hotels on Yas Island.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare special meals and substitute items according to recipes, presentation standards, and food preparation checklists.
• Regulate the temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters to maintain food safety.
• Pull food from freezer storage and thaw it in the refrigerator as needed.
• Ensure proper portioning, arrangement, garnish, and maintain accurate food logs.
• Monitor the quality and quantity of prepared food and communicate assistance needs during busy periods.
• Inform the Chef of excess items for daily specials and update service staff on menu specials and out‑of‑stock items.
• Prepare and cook cold foods following established standards.
• Follow all company safety, security, and uniform policies, reporting any maintenance or safety concerns.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of related culinary experience.
• Technical, trade, or vocational school degree in culinary arts or a related field.
• No prior supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.

Required skills
