Chef de Partie – Yalumba

About the role

Join the culinary team at Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre as a Chef de Partie for the Yalumba brand. You will be responsible for preparing high‑quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting the kitchen’s daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients, including portioning, chopping, weighing, and storing food.
• Wash, peel, and ready fresh fruits and vegetables.
• Measure, mix, and cook food according to recipes, quality, and presentation standards.
• Prepare cold dishes and operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
• Test food for doneness, monitor quality, and ensure correct portioning.
• Set up and break down work stations, clean and disinfect kitchen areas, tools, and equipment.
• Check appliance and food temperatures, and follow safety and security policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 12 months of relevant culinary experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 25 lb and work in a fast‑paced kitchen environment.
