Chef de Rang – Russian Speaking (Tasca)

About the role

Mandarin Oriental Jumeira in Dubai is seeking a Chef de Rang for its Tasca restaurant. The role requires a high level of service, fluency in Russian, and the ability to work collaboratively in a luxury hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a designated section of the restaurant, ensuring seamless service.
• Assist supervisors with daily checklists and side‑duty schedules.
• Explain menu concepts and RB&E offerings to guests and process orders via the POS system.
• Maintain mise en place, clean both front‑ and back‑of‑house areas, and polish equipment.
• Handle billing, cashiering, and payment processing accurately, including gift cards.
• Support stock checks, inventory, and assist other outlets as directed.

Required profile

• High school qualification; degree or HND in Hospitality/Business preferred.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a senior waiter or Chef de Rang, preferably in a luxury hotel.
• Fluent in spoken and written English; Russian language skills preferred.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to work long hours.
• Familiarity with restaurant POS and cashiering procedures.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS systems.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Office.
