Chef de Rang – Tasca (Russian Speaker)

About the role

Mandarin Oriental Jumeira is seeking a Chef de Rang to join the Tasca team. The role involves delivering exceptional service in a luxury beachfront setting while upholding the hotel’s high standards. Fluency in Russian is preferred to enhance guest interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Be responsible for holding a section in the restaurant.
• Assist supervisors with daily checklists and ensure mise en place is completed each shift.
• Explain the outlet’s concept and RB&E offerings to guests and process orders using the POS system.
• Deliver courteous and efficient service, ensuring dishes meet hotel standards and equipment is maintained.
• Handle billing, cashiering, and payment procedures accurately, including gift cards and non‑cash methods.
• Support stock checks, inventory, and assist other outlets as directed by the Restaurant Manager.

Required profile

• Minimum two years’ experience as a senior waiter or Chef de Rang in a high‑volume, luxury restaurant.
• High school qualification; a degree or HND in Hospitality, Hotel or Business Management is preferred.
• Fluent in spoken and written English; Russian language skills are an advantage.
• Ability to work long hours with a focus on operational excellence.

Required skills

• Proficiency with restaurant point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Office.
• Knowledge of dining and lounge service procedures and standards.
